More certainty: Whole body MRI scan and an extensive checkup.

The number of cancer cases increases every year; however, nowadays, around half of all cancer patients can be cured. The earlier cancer can be identified, the higher the probability of a complete recovery is.

However, standard preventive medical screenings do not make use of all the medical and technological options available today, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

MRI scans are not only used when a disease has already been identified, but also to rule out the presence of diseases in their earliest stages. A whole-body MRI scan enables a pain- and radiation-free look inside the body, as well as being able to rule out serious illnesses. This imaging technology can identify early-stage cancer long before the appearance of any symptoms.

If a whole body MRI scan – like the one offered in the radprax whole body check-up – is supplemented by necessary internal medical examinations, such as a complete blood count, with over 60 tested parameters, ultrasound and functional examinations (e.g., resting ECG, Ergospirometry), then it is possible to reliably exclude the presence of serious illnesses (such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases) in all areas of the body.

After analyzing the findings of up to ten state-of-the-art examinations, our radiology and internal medicine specialists will explain your general health status in a detailed and understandable manner.
